Awards night of the First Manila Nomads & Merville Youth Foundation Open Badminton Tournament on May 20, 2005, at the Belvedere Gym, Merville Park, Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines. The games were played on May 7 & 8, 2005, at the Nomad Sports Club, Merville Park, Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines. The tournament was a joint project of Manila Nomads Badminton and the Merville Youth Foundation.
The Badminton tournament was made possible through the efforts of Joel Dayrit, Joan Juliano, Jonas De Leon for the MYF; and for Manila Nomads, Elmer Liwanag (Team Captain), Marc Luz (Director for Finance) and the Staff of Manila Nomads. Special thanks to the tournament Director Joey Untalan. They were the prime movers behind the resounding success of the Badminton tournament.
Receiving the Champion Trophies for the Men's Doubles (Level "B") are Carl John Amisola and Ricky Caballero with proud father Raffy who drunk the whole night to celebrate his son's achievement.
