It was on the historic day of June 18, 2005, that badminton players coming from India visited Nomad Sports Club in Merville Park, Philippines, for the much awaited single day tournament showdown against the select players of Manila Nomads. The classic badminton tournament was organized by the smashing players from the Nomads badminton section. The participating badminton players were warmly welcomed by Nomadic President Matt Freeston and General Manager Bert Gopez.
